This is a classic of one mans’ investigation of the phenomena of Spiritualism. A retired senior officer of the Royal Navy Cartography Branch, Usborne Moore was a keen observer.
Between 1905 and 1911 he travelled to the U.S.A. three times specifically to investigate mediums such as: the Bangs sisters (precipitated paintings), the Johnsons (materialisation), Ada Besinnet (voice phenomena) and Etta Wriedt (voice phenomena).
This book is his personal journey of conversion from open-minded sceptic to Spiritualist and the evidence that convinced him.
